Hydrophilic tester for measuring droplet contact area
Taking a planar image of a droplet on a measuring object and measuring the contact angle from the contact area. This method is a new measurement technique that captures the contact state of a droplet with a constant volume from above and determines the contact angle from the contact area. Therefore, unlike conventional methods (which require the droplet to be a perfect sphere for measurement), this method can measure regardless of the droplet shape. - Compact and portable - Easy to operate, instant measurement - No need to cut the sample - The contact angle is measured over the entire contact area, not just a cross-section of the droplet, resulting in averaged values.
